KIDZ ZONE at Longmont Nazarene takes to heart Jesus’ words in Matthew 19:14: "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" KIDZ ZONE is a place where kids can be kids, where they will experience the love and Word of God through worship, learning activities and lot of plain old fun. Rev. Vickie Morgan, Children and Family Life Pastor, leads a team of adults who are passionate about serving the Lord and kindling in children a lifelong desire to have a close relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is that all children in KIDZ ZONE will experience the great joy God gives today just as He did for the Israelites in Nehemiah 12:43 and that such joy will encourage them to begin a lifelong journey of sharing the Jesus Christ with others.

KIDZ PRAIZE ZONE:

KIDZ Praize Zone begins as 10:00 am every Sunday morning for ages 5 through 5th grade. It is a time for children to celebrate Jesus in an age-appropriate manner. Music, games, Bible stories, activities, and life lessons are all included in a fast-paced, media-savvy worship experience. The children are encouraged to participated in all areas of worship. Small group time is provided so that the children can debrief with team leaders and children of their own age.

Infant and Toddler Nurseries are available.

KIDZ BIBLE ZONE:

Small Group Bible Studies for 2’s & 3’s, Pre-school/Kindergarten and Elementary school children meet every Sunday morning at 8:30 AM.

KIDZ FUN ZONE:

Children ages 5 to 5th grade come together for a time of devotion, prayer and sharing, and activities that teach but mostly provide lots of opportunity to have fun in God’s world.

Camp:

Each year our children trek down the road and up the mountain to the Colorado District’s very own campgrounds, Golden Bell Camp and Conference Center, just outside Divide, Colorado. There is a three-day camp for the 1st and 2nd graders and a full-week camp for grades 4-6. Activities there include swimming, miniature golf, a climbing wall, funyaks, archery, horseback riding, worship and quiet time with God, and a whole lot more. Other Activities:

Children’s Ministry sponsors many more activities during the year such as trips to the zoo or other attractions in the Denver metro area, hikes in the mountains, fun days, Craft days, and special time with their small groups.
